Ke30 Diff Upgrade

Driven sensibly, the KE30 diff will handle a worked 5K. It took a 6000rpm clutch dump on dry bitumen to pop mine behind a twin carbed, high comp 5k.

If you abuse it, nothing will last long. Mate managed to kill a 9" in his Falcon for example.

It's means Borg Warner. It's probably the diff you have in your car now.

If the car in question is the one in the avatar it'll be the jap diff. A close direct bolt in would be the borg warner from the ke55 (and later model ke30's). You'll have to swap the driveshaft over or at the least the flange that bolts the driveshaft to the diff, their different sizes.

And depending on who you ask about the borg warner, it'll either be an upgrade or a downgrade.

the next easiest to fit with a minimum of mods would the T-series diff from a ta22/ra23 celica, t-18.
