BlueKsev Posted December 9, 2011 Report Posted December 9, 2011 (edited) Hey fella's, I know there might possibly be a thread that says something like this somewhere and i'm sorry if there is, but i couldn't find an accurate one.. I'm after another pair of springs to suit a ke70 rear mount, that are stiffer. Now i got my hands on some VN commodore rears which would be the right sort of stiffness i want, but they are slightly too small. They would fit in the front of a Ke strut perfect though. Everyone has said get this certain model falcons springs, and fit them front and rear but the standard Ke springs have different diameters front to back! I want some that fit accurately on the perch on the diff! They will be cut, which i know is bad but they will be captive, but i am not putting springs with different diameters in. I have seen a Ke with some certain model falcon springs in the back which were clearly too big and the bottom coil was tucked underneath the perch..... i would sooner run without springs then do that. Does anyone here know the right model falcon, magna, commodore or something like that that fits the back accurately?? With some assistance from the angle grinder of course. Cheers Ben Edited December 9, 2011 by BlueKsev Quote
kickn5k Posted December 9, 2011 Report Posted December 9, 2011 (edited) can't you go and buy Peders/King springs lowered coils for your setup? Shouldn't cost more than $150 pair. Edited December 9, 2011 by kickn5k Quote
BlueKsev Posted December 9, 2011 Author Report Posted December 9, 2011 Oh alright how does that work? You get them to custom make them for you do you? $150 i could probably manage, but at the moment funds are going towards building up coilover struts for the front Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted December 9, 2011 Report Posted December 9, 2011 I have a pair of Celica ST superlow fronts in the back of mine. Very streetable. No cutting, perfect ride height. About the same as cutting 2.5 coils of stock springs. The tops narrow a bit but sit in the perch fine. Quote

My bad! Quote
BlueKsev Posted December 9, 2011 Author Report Posted December 9, 2011 Blzbub666 is that what you have in the original Cop bait? That could work well then whats the firmness of it do you think? 5 or 6kg or something? Also kickn5k the coilovers are what i have planned for the front, i do mean the rear springs. At the moment all it has it some good shorter stroke shocks from a vk commodore wagon but other then that the perches are standard and its still on the Ke70 diff Sorry if i was confusing in that last post haha Cheers Quote
