stereo is just about wired up, just need a console to mount it to. really want some speakers up front though; what are everyone's thoughts on speakers in the kick panel rather than the door?

 

yea i wouldnt ruin the good door cards go with the kick panel idea or even somehow mount near the centre console without damaging it

i did think of mounting near the center console, would be different.....however the heater takes up just about all of the room between the dash and trans tunnel :( so new plans must be made :wink:

i could have sworn i cleaned this the other day.....gotta love pulling up 33 year old carpet and plastic trim

lol. i been there, done that, mate....

sometimes its good and you find a nice lil gem, like some cash or classic mag/newspaper, etc.

most times its spiders and used wrappers or something, lol

ok well once again my mind has evaded me. realising that ella had a ke70 bush basher at my parents place with a 'relatively' intact center console, i got to it :yes: it seems that ke70 and rt118 must be pretty similar in a few ways, as everything lined up perfectly :blush: from the console and handbrake cover, all the way through to the shifter, and the stereo mount :laff: photos shall be up shortly just havent mounted stereo yet

not exactly how i wanted it, but its in and it works :wink:

Actually looks pretty good bud :) I bet you can't wait to have it on the street....

due you have no idea. i am so over driving the auto cressida around. its a nice car to drive.....but where the shifter should be there is a stupid stick that tells you what gear to be in :|

the seatbelts look ok tho.

and i may have a mate who can hook ya up RE the seats tho.

Shift it manually then you can be bossman to a degree hahaha then be like 'yeah what I'm in control' hahaha

shifting 2 gears out of 4 aint so cool, plus it doesnt shift when i want it too.....shift kit? :laff:

Angry valve body and clean the auto fluid and filter and see if that helps so it shifts hard and does hektik wheel chirps changing gears :P
