Rolla__Boy Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 ok, my mate (who I now hate) told me of a red KE55 coupe in really nice condition for sale for a reasonable price. So me being me....I need/want/HAVE to go look at it, and I did today. I want it. The lady has had a 5 speed fitted, it's got a 4K that runs well, no smoke, the tail lights are perfect, it has had some rust cut out professionally. 2 months rego. She wants $1000 ono, but she will take $600. It's too good for me to strip it for my project, but I have a driver car already...I just don't know what to do. Sorry I have no pics. Quote
MissSydneyCruising Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 My opinion is you can never have too many cars :) Every car is different and offers a different experience :( Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 30, 2005 Author Report Posted December 30, 2005 Cool, one vote to buy it :) Quote
Dan Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Buy it... why not. But get rid of the red :) I'm actually thinking of buying a sweet 2door KE30 atm, but its regoed and I have no use the licensing, and I know I'll end up lending it to my cousin, who'll crash it or break it :D hes good like that... for 500 Look at it this way; if its in overrated condition, it'll go to some dickhead who wont take care of it, rather than you 'nurturing' it... Yea nurturing = thrashing :( Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 30, 2005 Author Report Posted December 30, 2005 It's not in overrated condition....but it's clean And watch the KE20 2 door, kanga will snap that one up Quote
Trendact Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 You need an opinion :) buy it or I will Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 30, 2005 Author Report Posted December 30, 2005 :) You can buy my KE30 Quote
Dan Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Yea... Kanga won't be getting his paws on it  i badly want it... but back to your topic... Just go for it. It can't have more cancer than my car... thats gotta be a good thing! Quote
Felix Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 buy it for the missus, and flog off the telstar/626. Quote
Trendact Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Yep I am with Felix, that other half of yours needs some of the Rolla love Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 30, 2005 Author Report Posted December 30, 2005 She already palmed the KE30 4 door off on me in favour of Mazda action...so no chance Quote
Fayt Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 sounds pretty good :D as long as you don't need that extra $600 to do something to one of your other rolla's then why not  but id use the money to get a good pair of webers.... :droooooooool: :D Quote
Felix Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Fayt look twins: Jamesrolla's car looks almost identical to yours. didn't notice it 'til just before. sorry Rolla__Boy, back on topic... you should slap your missus around. tell her since you've got so many corolla bits it would make sense to have her drive another corolla, as it will save you money or something. Quote
love ke70 Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 if theres no use in you having it as you already have a project and a driver and you don't wanna strip this one, then me thinks you may aswell not take it, its just gonna take up time, money and space. all which can be better utilised my 2c anyway  Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 30, 2005 Author Report Posted December 30, 2005 Trendact is most likely going to take the KE30 off my hands for me, and use it as a daily, and then do it up for his son. So I can use the new red one as my daily  Quote
