altezzaclub Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 They had an Audi runnng around on a demo set a couple of years ago. Looks like they are up to manufacturing now. The grip is fantasic apparently, as there is zero sidewall flex. http://wfxd.com/featured/12488/new-see-through-michelin-tire-with-no-value-stems-and-no-air/ Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) Can you imagine the pimp wagons in USA with 30 inch ones. Bloody cool though. Edited January 26, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
altezzaclub Posted January 26, 2012 Author Report Posted January 26, 2012 Good question Rian.. I wouldn't have a clue! I suppose the rim is a two-piece or a 3piece that bolts the tyre center on. You don't need to seal them for air loss! Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 There are pics of them on stock rims though...??? Plus I was reading that if they came into production and available to the public tyre shops would need specialised equipment. And they are noisy and vibrate really bad. Hopefully they iron out the bugs Quote
