Aw11 Lsd (supercharged) Into Ae82 Na

ok, i am looking at buying the lsd box from a aw11 supercharged to fit into my ae82 twinky. i know there will be a prob with the standard driveshafts on my car needing to be changed, and the gear ratios will be different, but will i run into any other problems???

 

and is it worth it?? loss of power?? etc

ok, is your ae82 turbo or supercharged?

if not don't DO IT.

the e5# ratios are wider and youll slow ya car down a lot.

 

i it is turbo etc then yes it will fit, you will need to swap the selectors over to the other side.

amnd play around with ya driveshafts

i think you use the s/c inner shafts and the stock outers

at the moment it is na, hopefully by the end of the year it will be s/c

 

i can pick up the lsd cheap as because the place that is selling it has no idea that it is lsd

 

so i guess now my question is, is it worth getting, and then limiting myself to only the earlier model s/c for the sake of lsd when the conversion is done???

i was planning on supercharging it later this year

 

but i have been told that if i plan on using that box i can only use the early model supercharger with it, not the later 130kw one................. is that wrong??

as for the shafts.. look into it a bit more.

i can't recall for sure if you can use 1/ 2and 1/2
