  1. had a similar issue, timing was off, so reset everything and car is smooth as now
  2. looks like ur set for some real speed!
  3. Not the same, can be modified but not worth it (input shaft splines different). Just did the convo a few months back
  4. not to mention the engine will sit far back unless ur ready to move the firewall back
  5. ae92 sprinter, ganna have to be an import job
  6. KYB Excel G would be my pick (for standard replacement anyways)
  7. in other words, a lot... LOL just to start you off to drop the 4age in you will need at least the ae71 4a manual setup (gbox, engine/gbox crossmembers/mounts, tailshaft, pedal box)
  8. You will find that the ae93 sx seca are more common (well in vic anyways, seen a few for $1000). I prefer the ae93 hatchback in sx or gti.
  9. Before you guys start talking specs and parts, whats budget$$$$
  10. well I guess: weekend or "weekend" so, do you to go comfort or hardcore
  11. whats the car used for? having done new kyb and llovel suspension, it drove really well for daily drive and smooth enough to soak up the bumps (if I would do it again id just buy second hand). but on a spirited run... look else where (but ready to spend money)
  12. had the 15x6 steelies from a zze put onto my old ae82 awhile back, need to put 195/50r15 or similar sized tyres to suit.
  13. ah, this must be one of those death racers
  14. Just to throw this into the fan, my 4age smallport with a bigport loom can run on both jdm and adm ecu's... Loom was done by toyospares
  15. budget? as above 5/7k swap would be the easy of the bunch 4a series will end up costing more in the end.
  16. nice one, i might add this is very similar to a 4ac auto to man conversion.
  17. having just completed a 4ac auto to 4ac man/t50, the bellhousings are different. the box has a different design and will not bolt onto a t50 also
  18. +1 for 7k, lots of Nm at low revs to light up the rears (not sure if the kbox can handle the raw 1800cc of beast?) ke70 to 4age conversion will endup costing alot more (crossmemebers, pedal box, etc.) unless you find someone selling the complete setup for cheap. but in the long run the 4age will give you more options...
  19. i wonder if the 6af head would bolt to the 7af block?
