BUZ440 Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 So I noticed in the rides threads that 'alot' of members are quite chuffed that their new purchase of a used Corolla, comes with original log books, What is the big facination with this, seems everyone has them, I have mine also when it was first brought from Moorooka, QLD dealership back in 1977, but not much of it applies to my car, nor does it affect the value Shed some light please..... ke70dave Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 who knows. nostalgic value perhaps. log book means nothing on a 25yr old car anyway. might have original log books, but when was the last time it was filled out?! Quote
Willis Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 Yeah, I think it's a nostalgia thing aswell. I've got Japanese ones which I think is pretty cool... Quote
silverra23 Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 i like the idea of the car still having its books so you can see when it was first bought, by who, where it was sold, etc. becomes more interesting the older the car is. but yes, i guess its nostalgia. Quote
