My Ke70 Build

Hey guys, I'm on my L's, and this is my second car. My first was a SW20 mr2, but i sold it and got this....

Its a 1982 Corolla CS

and Has Extremely Low Kilometres

Log Books and everything

The interior is very clean except for the back seat which has a few tears

 

UPDATE***** i just took off the old sheepskins, and underneath the seats look brand new!! ***

Car has some surface rust but its fixable

 

The engine is a 4K, with an Auto Box

 

I am hoping for a conversion, but we'll see

 

and the rear bar needs to be pop back to be straight again

Clean Up the rust

Buff and Polish

Re-Black the bumpers

stereo install (no doof doof, just a head unit and some speakers)

Service

JDM Rims

IF ANYONE IS SELLING PARTS TO CONVERT AN AUTO 4K INTO A MANUAL, COULD YOU PLEASE PM ME OR SOMETHING.

I'm ALSO LOOKING FOR THE QUAD HEADLIGHT SETUP.

plan for tomorrow:

 

1) Clean Engine Bay

 

2) Wire Brush the rust off then respray black

 

3) Wire brush the rims and hit it with a coat of Black

 

4) Remove the seats to do a thorough clean

 

5) Spray all the things that used to be black, black.......!!

Thanks!.. its a shame its auto.. but looking around for a new box. It has genuine low kilometres (160,000ish) just needs a good tidy up

lol SW20's have their strengths and weaknesses.

mine was a 1991, so it didnt have a beams engine..

but yeah, sometimes you have to sell your 'baby' in order to get want you want.

it just happened to be that i loved KE's more....

Your photos look much better than the ones on the ebay listing, rc member chichbra had this advertised on here I think. While having the MR2, older cars have more character so I can see why this fitted the bill.

 

If you decide to remove the black rubber body moulds, please let me know :)

kinda.....

 

Ive been lucky to find a guy with all the parts i need for a conversion. I am picking it up in a few weeks.

 

and in about another week, car is going to the paintshop to fix all the surface rust and will receive a light coat too.

 

The stockies have been wirebrushed, and will receive a coat of black spray. pictures will be up soon.
