hi I'm looking for a place in melbourne where i can get parts for me Ae 92 rolla with the 6a engine.

 

took me ages to find the replacement engine, but parts seem to be like hens teeth. if you can help that would be great :harhar:

got a pic? ive never seen one before? and as for parts... well.... goodluck! :locked: try as many imported parts dismantlers as you can, they're more likely than anywhere else

corola, it isnt a 1.4 itsa 1.6ltr twin over head cam.

 

just so you know. i have tired every toyota spare parts place in metro melbourne and the best i have found were toyospares in bayswater which is a bit of a hike for me :locked:

i think i did cos i got a card off a guy at the auctions ages ago, rang them and didnt have engine, but ill try again for parts. thanks tiger

I have a 6A in my AE90 and it's a 1.4l

But yeh you'd be lucky to find one at a wrecker in Darwin(or anywhere else FTM), coz most of them are still running about.

mjrolla - If you have a 6A engine, then it is a 1.4L. If you a have 1.6L engine then it is a 4A as the 4A was the ONLY 1.6L engine available in the A-series.

wow, that looks identicle to my old 4a-fc! cept for the 6a sticker on the cam cover!

 

they must have same pistons and bore, just different crank and stroke.

 

what spare parts do you need? sounds and or looks like you could just source them outta 4as anyway... and they're in abundance!

So how rare are the 6af's???

 

Cause I got an AE90 with a 1.4L 6AFC!
