Toyota Paint Codes

Hey i'am trying to figure out the color of my corolla's so i thought i'd look on the fire wall and with my red one it says "AE" now a found a toyota paint site and there all in numbers eg "040", how to do figure this out, I'm a newb to paint,

i remember when i got my paint matched to do the respray (so should have got a different colour but owell) the code is paint/trim and theres 3 two letter parts to it, and one of those is the paint, can't remember which but if you took it to autobarn etc they would be able to tell you

Yeah i realised that, Mines Colour/Trim AE TH?

 

Might go to my nearest auto paint shop,

hiya,

 

just remember the paint colour in the can is the original colour, so there may be a difference due to paint fade, oxidisation, age etc., there are some places that can mix up paint in a spray can that'll match exactly.
