Hi all,

 

So trying to put my front end back together, any tricks to get the sway bar bushes to work? nut don't fit, should i pull out the heat gun?

 

Car is an AE71 with Pedders bushes, stock swaybar, ke55 LCA

Wow, they're huge! I'm running std sway with the superpro bushes, 55 arms on a '70 and they were fine to get on. How much are you short by? To actually do them up they will be compressed a hell of a lot anyway, mine were. Could give their height a trim with a sharp knife?

Bushes too large.

 

Use longer bolts, grind bushes, get different bushes.

I reckon I've seen the superpro ones on ebay for about $30 posted, it's almost worth saving the hassle!
