  1. yea there is a company in sydney that can make them new, I will test out the sv11 one and see how it goes first
  2. I cross referenced the part numbers and found that the SV11 share the same numbers as SV21 depending on year (as SV21 is more common) but the SV11 shows two part numbers, so i am not sure if you use the early or late model part number
  3. This thread better explains my issue, but i wanted to ask here as well http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php/26022-AE86-Disc-T-series-into-AE71-KE70-Sed-Handbrake-cables-what-is-going-on
  4. Hi all, What handbrake cables are used when using a T series disc rear end into ae71? I currently have the AE86 disc cables but they do not fit. I have read that you can use the camry splitter piece near the handbrake? What have you guys done in the past? Note ae71/ke70 are different to AE86
  5. Hi all, Will be taking my 71 to Marulan on the 21st. It has a stock bluetop with pod filter and exhaust. Exhaust wise i have 4-1 extractors, one resonator then one high flow muffler. I have a flange before the diff so i can get a quieter muffler/silencer on there without major hassles. What are your experiences? Will a stainless muffler be quieter than a mild steel? What would be least restrictive on performance? Extra high flow muffler in middle or quieter rear muffler with silencer? these are the rules of Marulan: Test 1: Maintain 5000 rpm for five seconds. Requires a reading of less than 92db when measured 5m directly in line with the exhaust tail pipe. Test 2: From the same position, return the engine to idle rpm then flatten the accelerator to 5000 rpm for a reading of less than 95db.

  13. Can anyone tell me what the wires are to this plug? This is what i have at the moment: Red Black (or red blue) / Reverse lights Yellow Green / temp gauge Yellow black / oil pressure Yellow / injector power (conect this to 12v switched on ignition) Black white / starter signal black orange / ign (connect this to 12v switched on ignition OR connect as discribed in the first part of the guide) black with brown dots / tacho (old tacho wire will be found near the old coil, same colour (or just a plain black wire)). There is a black wire that I am unsure of
  14. This is where I am at currently. AE71 fuse box Under the lid ECU with COR My "EFI Main" I need to work out where to connect the remaining wire too. On the wiring diagram it says it goes to engine main relay and charge light Connection from EFI Main to battery Connection from EFI Main to ground Conection from EFI Main to COR Not sure what this plug is on JDM 4AGE engine loom
  15. How do i find the Engine main relay wires in the AE71 fuse box so i can connect up the wire from the EFI relay, Does B.O stand for black orange?
  16. Link below has 3 pinouts, how do i know if mine is a late model or early model? http://www.club4ag.com/faq_and_tech_pages/ECU%20Japan%20AE86%204A-GE.htm
  17. Yep managed to find a plug from a SV21 camry, thanks guys. I'm just not sure which pinout to follow. Can anyone help?
  18. Am I supposed to have another plug for my ECU from the AE86 body loom?
  19. This is the relay I will be using as EFI main, which has a 15a fuse on it. What got me a bit confused was whether I needed a fusible link between the below relay and battery.
  20. Have you got a photo of the back side of the box?
  21. So does an ADM AE86 fuse box have a fusible link from it to battery?
  22. Yea I am putting doing the conversion in an AE71
