RotoricanNY
Hello all I have a noob question but please bare with me as I'm new to the Toyota family. Been looking for info on the TE72 (USDM) and I found this place, when I serched KE70 it looks exactly the same as to what I know a TE72 is. Now for my question, is it the same car just different code overseas? (I noticed this forum isn't based in America). If it's not could you guys please point me in the right direction please? Thank you for your time.
PHATKE20S
I'm not up to speed on xE7x series but I can tell you ours only had a little 4K (1.3litre). We never received a 2dr sedan either.
B.L.Z.BUB
Essentially the same. Except yours got t series engines. T series engine = TE7* K series engine = KE7*
ke70dave
if you have a T engine (3t most likely) then you would have got a T series gbox as well. maybe even a T series diff? or an S series. my understanding is it was only the ausi ones that got the borge warner. RotoricanNY
Ah starting to make some sense now, thanks guys! Most of them that I've seen here have the 3-TC or have some type of engine swap. Thank you for the quick replies.
