Medicine_Man Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 One the way to work my electronic ignition packed it in while i was driving up the highway, just lost power and i pulled off to the side, tried to start it up again and the engine revs were all over the place, got under the bonnet for a quick look, fuel was in the filter and the fuel bowl on the carby was full, so i figured it must be something other than fuel, checked the throat of the carby and everything looked fine, tightened the plug leads down a bit and still no go when i fired it over, then i realised that it could possibly be the electronic ignition, put it back on to the normal points (plug to swap it over) and what do you know it purred over like a kitten.. *GRUMBLE* now in the market for another electronic ignition, hunt still going..
