Buying A Wreck

Featured Replies

I'm new to the rolla club as I am looking a buying a ke70

Was just wondering if someone could give me a good price to pay for a 5 speed manual barely running motor ke70 will no drivers seat,

Body is pretty clean with one dent in the rear quarter and pretty much no rust.

Ahyeah cheers man, btw is this an American site or Australian?

I'll probs be asking a shit load of questions over the next couple of months haha

Where are you from? That may change the value of these cars. Its probably unlikely since it is a ke70. Those are pretty common everywhere.

Just from Adelaide,

Do you get many motors in good condition for them anymore?

How much would you be looking at spending roughly for a decent 4age?

And the car I'm looking for is a ae71 not a ke70.

Will that change the price at all?

It will change the price. They are a sought after base for a 4age transplant as the engine will bolt in and all you have to do is run the wiring.

With a KE70 you need to change X member, pedal box (hydraulic clutch for a T50), tail shaft etc.

Ahk yeah this one used to have a 4age in it.

So how much would you pay yourself if you were going to get one not running?

Just as I've never bought one I don't want to pay too much
