No, Batch hired a suit like the rest of us. :D

Yep, Theo with the really tidy 15 Sprinter. I believe the car went to NSW after he passed away.

I didn't realise they'd named a trophy after Theo. I'm glad, he was a great guy. What's the trophy for?

Batch gets particularly annoyed when you beat him in his own car. Incidently he was one of my groomsmen at my wedding. Yes, Batch in a suit. :D

The trophy is for the years Motorkhana Champion, I believe it was Theos widow who presented it last year. I knew nothing of all of this, got a bit of a crash course in Club/Motorkhana history that night! I didn't know Theo, but it seems appropriate.

Batch in a suit that's not a race suit? :blinks:

Nice to see a dedicated clubman recognised in this way.

Theo, Batch, Neil, Rob........some old names are popping up in this thread.

If you want another set of names from the old days, that looks like Leigh and Dianne's Civic in the photos, too. Or is that the one Maurie Hangar is driving now?

I didn't happen to catch the name of the owner of the Civic, if it helps at all he was teaching two young boys (maybe 12 & 14yrs old?) how to drive in it. They didn't do too badly either!

Got my CAMS Licence in the mail today. :D
