below is the convo that went on in the random pics thread over the last week or so

I love seeing all the weird bikes in the parking lot at uni, I often see Z50s, cafe racers, postie bikes with engine swaps etc. I saw this at uni the other day:

Honda Ruckus with some kind of engine swap and a huge driveline upgrade, the wheel on the back is 8" wide!
Edit: I should add that the seat only came up to my knee... it's very low.

asked him if he or his mates have one for sale

"Writing this from my phone in a motel at Scone, after what Bill & Ted would call a 'Most Excellent Adventure'.

Picked her up lunchtime today from Jason at Zoku, after a spur of the moment decision to drive from Toowoomba, QLD to Rockdale, Sydney

Left at approx 10 pm last night, packing a carton of 500 mL energy drinks, and driving non stop, apart from bio breaks and swapping driving duties with the wife, arriving at his new shop at approx 10am and having a power kip tip the agreed time to meet of midday

Went thru his amazing collection, of which at least 6 or 7 were Ruckus/Zoomer in various stages of undress

Fell in love with his white 2010 injected model, with the lowered seat rack already fitted

Threw the agreed amount to him, kicked tyres, and some manly tractor talk, then left, arriving at Scone at approx 6 pm tonight

Now 2 things need to be said at this point

1. Jason is one of the nicest, helpful guys I have ever met. Really went above and beyond the 'call of duty'

2. If you're after one, get onto him ASAP, as these may be his last, as the cost of buying them, as a small operator, servicing and compliancing these to aust stds, then having to justify the 3-4k cost to potential buyers, myself included, is a bit much

remove the plastic around the fuel tank and fit some footpegs like this:

fit a Yoshi like below

will need custom headers to suit the fatty

 

chuck the existing tail light and indicators in the bin, replace them with an integrated R1 tal light/indicator combo, like this:

 

 

and something like these, for the front/side

then front and rear adjustable shocks, and i should be happy

not worrying about a GY6 150cc engine upgrade yet, as this 50cc honda GET engine is injected, and only 2,000 ks on her.

What are parts like though, I'm sure getting the wider rear to fit etc will be quite costly?

can get a kit with 10x8 fatty with tyre, and the new mount to offset the wheel, and all needed to get her on, like this pictured from AK garageworks
