TOYOCOUPE Posted April 10, 2013 Author Report Posted April 10, 2013 any feedback would be appreciated good or bad :) Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 (edited) Cool little coupe, I love 35s. Looks pretty damn straight. Â EDIT: Welcome to the forum too bro :y: Edited April 10, 2013 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
The_enthusiast Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 Welcome eden, thats a nice little piece of corolla you have there! Â why were you thinking of putting a rotary in it? what are you going to use it for! A to B? Quote
TOYOCOUPE Posted April 10, 2013 Author Report Posted April 10, 2013 (edited) good to be here mate, yeh its reasonably straight with a bit of bog in the rear quarter but nothing severe, i just love the sound of rotaries but they cost a fair bit and i work at a fruit shop so it may not happen :/. Was just gonna use it to get to school and back when i get my license and the occasional car meet. just curious is it worth modifying the 3k instead? Edited April 10, 2013 by TOYOCOUPE Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 K motors can be modded to get a bit of pep, just remember on your L's/P's you can't drive a modified vehicle, that includes engine transplants. Modding the 3K would be a good start, you can keep it looking pretty stock but make it fun. Plus K motors are great to learn on. Quote
nerfbat Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 welcome mate..! Â love these, and this one looks like a great base to start with Quote
TOYOCOUPE Posted April 10, 2013 Author Report Posted April 10, 2013 alrite awsome, i luv the 3k but i didnt want to put time and money into it if it wasnt worth it. Quote
TOYOCOUPE Posted April 16, 2013 Author Report Posted April 16, 2013 hey guys I'm looking at putting a pair of flares and a front spoiler on the coupe, what do u guys think? wanna make sure b4 i get them Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 Why flares?do your wheels stick out the guards? Â What kind if lip? Quote
TOYOCOUPE Posted April 16, 2013 Author Report Posted April 16, 2013 (edited) I'm looking to put different wheels on it which will poke out the gaurds but if it will look better without I'm willing to keep them same width as wats on it now or a bit wider just a front lip/spoiler Edited April 16, 2013 by TOYOCOUPE Quote
TOYOCOUPE Posted April 26, 2013 Author Report Posted April 26, 2013 Hey guys have some updates on thr corolla, ive decided that I'm not going to go for the jdm approach wih fender mirrors and flares and I'm definetly putting in a 4age. Since last time i have started to repair some rust out of the rear quater, stripped the boot and the car is now basically a shell. . Will have plenty of updates soon Quote
TOYOCOUPE Posted April 26, 2013 Author Report Posted April 26, 2013 I can't start stripping any other paint on the car till dads car is running :( Quote
