So basically all rust has been removed from the car, whole new front end, as I said the r31 skyline differential shortened and axles replied with a mini spool, put brand new front springs and shock inserts, installed a s3 rx7 12a. Soon it'll be getting so hi-fill than getting painted. All looking pretty sweet! :)

So things have changed! Skyline diff conversion, 12a rotary conversion, 15 inch globes and a bit of a drp

Hey guys I'm doing an sr20 conversion in my ke35 And currently looking for a diff. I've heard hilux and r31 skyline are both pretty good, but I've heard the 8 inches out of the mustangs are pretty good and cheap aswell. If anyone has done this conversion please let us know what u used Cheers

so stripped the outside of the door today so now the door is basically done and found some 66 mustang mirrors from dads car sitting in the cupboard so I'm gonna chuck them on when its done aswell. all that remains is the other door and sill panel and engine should be getting dropped in! can't wait! will chuck some pics up cheers

meh, this came up cheap, it was already in a ke30 so mounts and everything were done already. i know its not unique but hopefully the power will make up for that :)

haha I'm not, can never have enough corollas :), i'll just leave it in the shed and take it for the odd "drive around the block" every now and then but yeh, when the time comes i'd like to get another corolla but a bit more tame and p plate legal :)

thanks mate, just contacted someone with a hilux diff but we;ll see how it works out, just a quick question, my sr20det has had all the turbo stuff removed so its running n\a, the original owners of the doner car used a de ecu, will this work or will a det ecu work, or will i need some aftermarket one? cheers

Cheers man, just a question, what's everyone's opinion on diffs, i was thinking r31 skyline but are their any other diffs that are cheap but effective?
