jader
Hi all,was hoping to get some advice on a problem with what appears to be a gasket that goes between the inlet and exhaust manifolds which is partly missing (see photo). I have heard that you can get some exhaust repair paste that could potentially be a quick fix, but thought i would see if anyone else has had issues with this before (i haven't been able to find much info on this gasket, even the workshop manual i have doesn't seem to mention it in the inlet/exhaust manifold section). Thanks in advance
GJM85
You can get a steel gasket from most exaust shops. Edited May 17, 2013 by GJM85
GJM85
You can also go to the exaust shop and get some extractors. Edited May 17, 2013 by GJM85
Taz_Rx
Its called the hot box gasket. Be careful removing the bolts that hold them together, they have a tenancy to snap!
