Have a fair bit of land.

Was going fine, had headlights on, then nothing.

 

Now i am missing

Headlights

Hazards (but indicators still work)

Interior light (but door light works below dash)

Dash lights are out (but batt, oil and handbrake lights come up)

Tail lights but no reverse lights

No horn

Windscreen wipers and washer bottle work

So yeah help me out? I have tried everything and nothing so far

Check the fusible links near the positive terminal on the battery. There are 3 wires there, and one of them powers all of these things.

I did think this also but i replaced my fusible links with modern ones already, all fuses are intact still

Well the problem has to be somewhere between the fusible link and the dash controls, there's only 1 wire that supplies power to all the things you mentioned. You'll need to get a multimeter/test light and find out where the circuit is broken.

Have you got a wiring diagram Brad?

 

There are some up on here, and that will show you what joins to what.

I have a wiring diagram might have to look it over nice and hard and check everything again. Ill check again with a multimeter and post up if i have any luck! Could going over a nice bump have done anything obvious?

i lost circuits for running my car. in the city.

after a nice bump. stood there gawkin under the hood

there was a multipin connector starting to come loose. sliding apart.

 

it had a black sheath covering it to keep water out.

 

reaching down by the main harnesses i caught hold of it and put a plastic tie on.

encircled it between the wires on each half. restored the connection. and " vroom vroom"

 

i have a 3K in a ke20, 74 in usa. i don't know every circuit it feeds, but they were mains.

 

the sheath covered it so well i had to be standing and leaning in
