hay guys. a lot of you will recognise this pano that simo was building. i finally got it delivered and started we he left.

 

I'm still going the 13b turbo set up with a 5 speed as i love my rotaries and ke's

 

i understood the cvar was sitting in primer for quiet sometime so i went over alooottttt of the body work over the weekend. bringing and welding a few bits and pieces to make it perfect.

 

i also cut out the rear panels to fit windows. some of you will like it some will hate it.

 

anyway just a quick up date to tell you this project has come back to life and i will be finishing it 100%

Nice, I almost bought this thing lol. I just bought a ke38 wagon that I'm putting 2j/glide in. It's a couple below in the build threads :) cool project

cheers for the comments boys. the only thing I'm unsure of atm is to go straight to an auto or blow a w58 or two apart.

depends what the car is being used for or what you want to do. if your planning to drag race it then go an auto.

i know it will end up on the track a lot more than the road but i love my manuel. it will start off as a streeter. but i can see what will happen hahahaha

Good luck at getting that thing street registered, the firewall modifications will make it hard. Would look nice on the track . Will be nice to see this car finished

car has been checked already and with a small list of things that i need to do i can get it engineered no problem.

little up date on the car. as i started pulling it apart i noticed more and more shit that was not worth fixing. the car was not to any standard even worth trying to fix. rust threw out the whole car that was repaired with fibre glass and bog. I'm that disappointed its a joke. i stripped all that was worth stripping and threw the shell in the scrap yard.

 

worst car i have ever bought.

bugger that's sad to hear bud. what are you going to do? look for another shell?

just picked up a minnnttttt stock as a rock 26 wagon. white in colour. plans are to leave the paint and interior and still but my 13bbpt in it. kind of a sleeper look for now until things get serious.

Have a look at the rear end setup on my car... Seems to hold up... Have got the hilux diff, el rotors and skyline calipers... Got bilstein shock aswell.,

what leafs are you running. and who did your coil overs.

Did you choose Bilstein for the coilover/shocks? I wonder how's the progress on this project? Seems there's no update if it's 100% complete.
