1988 Corolla Ae95 4Wd Wagon - Now Wrecking

Featured Replies

Below is the original ad i posted on here on 13th Dec 2012 trying to sell this car complete.

I had no interest so now I'm wrecking / dismantling it.

Please let me know if you'd like any parts and i can give you a price and condition report.

**PLEASE NOTE: The engine & gearbox is not for sale as they've travelled 380,000 kms (although still running fine) and is not worth my time and effort to remove from the car for the little amount i would get for them.

Some details...

It has a dicky syncro on second gear which has been the same ever since i bought the car in 2006 ( I double clutch so it didn't bother me).

There is a slight clutch fluid leak.

It has (expensive) fully adjustable front coilovers that i purchased from Barry on this forum (sourced from NZ).

There are lowered and stiffer springs in the rear with new shocks and spring seats, there are also nolathane bushes on the panhard rod.

I have also fitted a factory Twin Cam Corolla strut brace.

The original 13" wheels are gone and it now has Factory Twin Cam Corolla 14' wheels fitted.

Rear brake shoes and cylinders were replaced as was the windscreen when i purchased the car. ( i have actually only done about 20,000kms in the car).

New rear muffler.

Stereo head unit is a mp3/wma Cd player with removable face.

It has a tow bar.

Air Con works.

The car has passed 2 Victorian Roadworthys since I've owned it.

The car has been resprayed at some point before i purchased it and it is in fair to average condition for its age. There are some dents and scratches and some damage to the right hand rear dog leg (behind the RH rear door).

Ok, that's all i can think of at this stage.

PS: The picture attached is before any work was done to the car and when it still had the original wheels. It does show the damage to the dogleg as mentioned above (not too bad).

The car is located in Mentone in Victoria which is about 20kms SE of Melbourne city.

Delivery can usually be arranged for items that cannot be posted, please contact me if you require this service.

Thanks,

Brett.

Hi, sorry for the delay, I've had big problems signing in!

The steering wheel is not in great condition with small (i guess sun damage) cracks around the top of the wheel.

You can't see the cracks from a distance but you can from the drivers seat.

This is an early model car and did not come with a rear spoiler.

Kind Regards,

Brett.

Hi Brett

Keen to know what you want for the front coil overs and the rear springs/ shocks, and the strut brace.

Thanks

Adam

ps. have you got a photo of how it looked with these items fitted?

Adam.

Unfortunately i didn't get an email telling me somebody posted here, i just listed the Strut Brace on Ebay (see "market place" in this forum).

I haven't got any photos of the car showing these parts.

I'd like to get $500 for the front coil overs and the rear springs/ shocks and new rear rubber spring seats. (all this cost me about $1000).

Or make me an offer.

Cheers,

Brett 0414 555 141.

Cheers Brett... I will get back to you shortly, that sounds pretty reasonable!

Hi brett just wondering if you still have the car and whats left of it?

I still have the car as the original buyer has now backed out.

It's probably easier just to call me and i'll tell you anything you'd like to know.

Cheers,

Brett 0414 555 141

PS: Sorry for the delay, I've had Connection problems.
