crunk81us Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 Ke20 with ke70 discs. I use it for street sprints etc.. Not wanting to mess around with an upgrade right now, just improve what I have, I have found a few options in brands and am looking for the best braking performance. Noise and dust irrelevant! Rotors dba standard solid discs or adb dimpled and slotted Pads bendix ct, ferodo racing, adb performance. If I cld buy bendix ultimates I would but from what I can see they don't make them. Any better options out there or which would you choose? Quote
crunk81us Posted March 23, 2014 Author Report Posted March 23, 2014 Oops I put this in the wrong spot.. Should be in tech. Sorry. Quote
ke70dave Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 what about the QFM pads? I have the HPX in my wrx, and it takes a few hard stops to turn them on, then they get really bitey. Though i have never driven them on a race track (only around mt nebo...) i have driven the A1RM, and they took even more to heat them up, but again never drove them on a race track. You want to go a high temp brake fluid too, The penrite sin stuff was about the best value I could find ($/temperature). Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 Yeah I also have QFM HPX pads in my sil and they're as Dave said good street/track pads I would go A1RM's if the car is predominately track based. As for rotors anything that isn't solid disk haha Quote
crunk81us Posted March 23, 2014 Author Report Posted March 23, 2014 Ke70 brakes.. They're all solid. Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Yeah I meant as in get solid or dimpled and all the rest Quote
crunk81us Posted March 24, 2014 Author Report Posted March 24, 2014 Gotcha :) might all be moot. Just bought ke55 struts With vented discs calipers etc.. I think it is either a celica or ae86 Jdm brake upgrade! Princely sum of 65 bucks! I was holding off on the ae86 upgrade due to funds.. Or lack of. Quote
