Hi All

I'm new to this site and do not know my way around very well yet.

I'm trying to put my Corolla into programming mode to set a new remote.

Does any one know how to do this?

I've tried 2 ways without success.

1. Disconnect battery for 30 seconds then reconnect.

. Then open drivers door.

. Turn key on and off 20 times

. Car blinkers should flash. You should be in programming mode.

 

2. Tried another way which is on utube for a n American car (left hand drive.

the process had me opening and closing door and pulling the key in and out various times.

 

Any other ideas?

Call Toyota?

HA HA HA HA!

 

And pay $200 for programming. Stepfather had to do it n his pathfinder and eventually found the procedure on line. It will be somewhere.

I've looked all over the net but have not been able to find how to do it.
