Pht_taxi Posted October 16, 2014 Report Posted October 16, 2014 Hi, been looking at what engine I can swap into a ke30 or 55, I was wanting to go the whole CA/SR route but I came across an audi 5 cylinder and it got me thinking about throwing it in a rolla. A bit of customization is obviously going to be involved. Only thing is I'm not sure on dimensions yet. if anyone can chime in on the dimensions of the engines bays that would be helpful but I'll keep searching around. Quote
7000rpm Posted October 16, 2014 Report Posted October 16, 2014 Mate please save yourself the pain and expense and find another alternative Quote
kickn5k Posted October 16, 2014 Report Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) Being that the Audi and Volvo 5cyl are quite close, you may find some info regarding size in here. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/46262-ke70-1981-project-runway/page__fromsearch__1 RWD gearbox will be the most expensive part and more than likely it will need custom manifolds. The howl the 5cyls make is unbeatable. Edited October 16, 2014 by kickn5k Quote
benhachi Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 It will cost you far less to do a CA swap and will take less time and will be easier to put in. On the other hand you will make more horsepower with the Audi TTRS engine -Hope this helped Quote
