Hey guys!

 

Suddenly i noticed that my ammeter is reading +30 when running and about +10 on idle.

 

I always see the meter at 0 so i got worried.

 

What are the possible scenarios that caused this and should i be alarmed? I ran the car for about 20mins and its still the same.

Maybe the voltage regulator is not happy. If you have a multimeter just check it is charging at about 13.8volts while running above idle.

 

It would only charge that fast if the battery was run down, normally. It could be a sign of a dying battery.

hey thanks! i don't have one but i would grab a unit tomorrow coz i'd need it when i intall some gauges.

 

UPDATE: looks like it resolved itself... i think there's a ground somewhere so hunting i will go :clover: :clover:
