Rolla__Boy Posted April 24, 2006 Report Share Posted April 24, 2006 I currently have 8 firefox windows open, and my system runs fine. It's only a Dirty old P4 1.8 with 700ish meg of ram. I ALWAYS have rollaclub open in firefox, 24/7 and usually leave most of the other windows open 24/7 too....and once every 3 or 4 weeks firefox crashes. Mozilla is stacks better than Firefox as it loads pages faster, has its own mail client (if you wanna use it), built-in IRC chat client (if you wanna use it). Or you can just install the browser, which i've done. Never have any system resource issues with it consuming so much memory like firefox does.
