Might be a stupid question, but found a nice 2" exhaust for an AE71 for a good price, would it fit my ke70? Or is it worth buying for the mufflers and stuff then take a shop to weld it on? Or would that be too expensive. Cheers.

The exhaust headers on an ae71 are on the opposite side of the engine compared to a ke70. From about you front foot wells back it will fit, the front will have to be modified to work.

My oppinion is just go to exhaust shop and get one made to suit your car.

A little more expensive than a second handy. But at least you will know its brand new and wont need "fixing" in the future like a lot of 2nd hands do.

True, valid point. I'll be better off spending a bit more for a new one suited to my car. Thanks

I put one on The Girls KE70 when Ifitted the 4AGE a few months back. It was in the AE71 that the crossmember came out of, a 2" system with a silly stock pipe from the driver's side across the car.

I just cut that off and used a VL Commodore 2-1 extractor pipe to join the 2" to the 4AGE manifold. It wasn't hard to cut up pipes and re-weld them here and there. It works perfectly.
