Hey me again,so the Coupe never had a Passenger side mirror? as there are no mounting holes for one...really miss that mirror... any other options/ ideas around drilling into the car ? I see there's one on Dumbtree ,so could buy that one and bite the bullet...

If you want that granny spec look definitely go the originals. they are rare as they were an optional extra in the day. I got one for my daughters hardtop and it looks great. Make sure it comes with the rubber gasket that goes between the mirror and the door panel.  

well I had a good look on the net,miss one on ebay last month....so if anyone sees one,maybe they can give me a heads up...my 'Gran Toyrolla' awaits.ta

That is super granny spec in the engine bay area all the vac lines and filters are all place still. Do you have a mod plate for that silver foil. Take a pic of the ID plates on the fire wall and as Banjo said do you know her history.
