Hi All,

I'm a new guy here. Basically I'm eyeing a KE35 being sold here in my area(Philippines) and after I have the bodywork, suspension, brakes done, I'm planning an engine swap. Now I was thinking first of doing a 4AGE but the T50 transmission is almost non-existent here in the market. I came across the 3SGE/3SGTE and SR20DE/SR20DET as well but the motor selling price alone is more expensive than the car("Drift Tax"). Now I came across a somehow underrated engine here in, the 1UZ-FE. I found one with a 4-speed manual trans. It's way cheaper and much more exciting imho(Who cares about mpg when you got a V8).

Now I was wondering if what things should I consider when swapping this? Will it fit or do we have to do a lot of body work just to get it done. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks!

Regards,

Clark

It's not a legal conversion in the majority of states in Australia, so very few if any that are on here would have done it. I think it's going to be something that you will have to run a tape measure over both and work it out.
