Haha, got told about this band by a mate, there like... pommy rap? Alright tunes and its bloody funny listening to some of the shit they concoct in there lyrics...

 

But another question I got, whats some good trance songs? Can't bloody find any :)!

there is a great The Streets song on "original pirate material" about the difference between dope smokers and piss heads.

Been a streets fan since Mike Skinner was doing UK Garage (UK Garridge :) )

 

"The Irony of it All" on Original Pirate Material is an absoulte laugh, and that track that JC807 refers to.

 

Mike's 2 most recent albums follow a story:

 

"A grand don't come for free" Was his daily life, and how his mates stole 1000 pounds off him that was savings for a drug deal. He started seeing this chick, and she cheated on him with one of his best mates. He gets pissed off at the world, but then it all starts to come right for him again.

 

the latest one, unsure of its name (and can't be stuffed googling) is about how fame isn't all its cracked up to be. Listening to him say basically "I feel like a wanker in these expensive clothes and driving my ferrari, but f.ck you, I have earned it" is great.

 

 

Love the streets!! But i'll say it now, it ain't everyone's cup o' tea.
