Came across a 'mistake' in the FAQ... from my interpretation anyway...

 

Trimatic

Some later model Aussie Corollas came fitted with a GMH Trimatic gearbox, almost identical to that which was behind six cylinder Holdens such as the EH.

 

Trimatics weren't in Holden's until the HG model...

 

I thought these were editable but I don't know how to...

Yep they only came in a 3 speed manual and a 4 speed auto (hydramatic) 1st gear has 2 stages :

 

1st: 3.63

2nd: 3.03

3rd: 1.57

4th: 1.00

Couldnt be bothered just go to holdenhistory.com and look it up, i don't want this to turn into an argument. we have a few hr's and so on, the prem we have has a 2speed powerglide.

Nah mate, wasn't looking for an argument, was just interested that there was a 4 speed so early in Holden history...

 

I know how to edit it now, thanks Nick...

They are a 4 speed but its is a 3 speed with a 2 stage 1st gear which has a change at some rpm.

Hey dunno who is interested but i went to me dads house today and he finally had the HR prem out of the shed to see some sunlight so i thought id get a pic since it probably wont be around for long since he wants to sell it.
