1) car on jack stands / hoist & drain tranny fluid

2) undo 4 12mm tailshaft nuts

3) remove center tailshaft bolts (2x 14? 17?mm bolts)

4) pull tailshaft out

5) remove gearstick selector

6) undo speedo drive and reverse light off gearbox

7) disconect cable clutch assembly off box

8) undo all the bellhousing bolts, push starter motor out of way (to front of car)

9) undo rear engine gearbox mount

10) remove gearbox

11) remove 6 12mm bolts on pressure plate

12) remove pressure plate & clutch plate

13) remove flywheel & get machined (i doubt you have a dial gauge)

14) remove and replace rear main seal and spiggot bearing (rear main seal is the seal around back of crankshaft, its easy to get too, worth only a few bucks, and is most likely leaking) - Spiggot bearing is the little one that sits in the middle of the flywheel

Also, Replace the throwout bearing while your there.

15) Put flywheel back on (tighten to correct specs - RE: GET A GREGORIES BOOK FOR THESE !

16) put pressure plate and clutch back on, align clutch with approraite clutch aligning tool

17) tighten up pressure plate correct way, evenly

18) put gearbox back in straight, and make sure you don't bend clutch hub.

19) Re the rest of the instalation steps.
