Rolla__Boy Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 He can run it on diesel hehe I know that alot of the KE30's I have had haven't had the twin pipe manifold. That's not to say it's factory, but yeah Quote
Felix Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 fair enough. the ones i did had the twin pipes. but then again i only had the earlier jap 2door ke30 sedans..... Quote
coln72 Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 think it depended on the engine type 3k-h's had them. An aisan of a 5k might be a go as the secondary is bigger than a 3k. Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 I have a 5K factory carb too... I didn't use it yet because I haven't been bothered swapping things over. I didn't know if they were any different, I might use it now Quote
speedway_rolla Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 So Dan any progress? All us SA boys are really interested in fitting the older 3ks with later model heads. :) Quote
Dan Posted June 27, 2006 Author Report Posted June 27, 2006 I'm going along the lines of just cleaning up the 3k head well, reconditioning it etc. and going with that, and the flat-tops. Though, is there any difference between the 3k and 4k heads? I thought that there was a difference in stroke rather than bore sizes, am I wrong? Cheers people, Dan. Quote
lappy Posted June 28, 2006 Report Posted June 28, 2006 4k just has a longer stroke the heads are the same Quote
