Hey, my sister has a 1988 AE82. every since we got it when we lift the bonnet it rubs on the wipers. We not long ago got one for spares and it does the same thing.

 

Does anyone else have this problem or know how we can fix it??

Welcome to the AE82 rolla problem that everyone has, some people put washers between the bonnet and the hinge to lift it a bit but i havnt been bothered so i just put up with it and its a toyota so you never have to lift the bonnet alot anyway :hmm:

hey thanks, yeah we keep forgetting to do anything about it cos we don't have to lift it that often. ill get out there tomorrow and try to lever th bonnet up a tad.
