how much is a 4agze conversion and compare it to a vn v6 conversion and theres your answer to which ones cheaper.

if the VN is a Auto can i just bolt up a manual gear box, or is there internals to be messed with??

 

i would like to do 99% of the work myself, and have mates that will be able to lend their expertese for free.

I know its been a few weeks since anyone posted in this thread but what the hey. The VN manual motor has a different crank. My mate has an auto one and manual box and they don't fit. VP-VR motor on the other hand fit both auto and manual

if your going to bother with a v6,its easier to drop in an 5ltr....theres not much in it,the sump fits between the front cross member and sway bar...but go with what you want...cya

the early vn engines have 6 bolt flywheel/flexplate. the later model have a 8 bolt. but thats why i was happy wiht mine as it was manual from the factory
