Hey guys,

 

My name's Russell and heres my granny spec '79 ke35 4 door.

 

I picked it up for $50 from some bloke that had no idea what he was doing...

 

It already had new plugs, leads, carbie and points fitted... already worth the $50 :lock_folder:

 

The interior is in overrated condition, only one crack on the dash.

 

It has a 4K bolted to a 3spd auto which I plan to replace with a 5 speed very soon.

 

Bodywise it has a little rust in the drivers side guard and quarter panel. I plan to spray it white and get rid of the rust.

 

Those 17's aren't mine :lock: but hopefully soon I'm getting some 15's.

Pity the 17's aren't yours, cause they look pretty sweet. I wouldn't have thought that 17's would have fitted, but now I know otherwise. And I'm pretty sure that the KE35 was only available as a two-door fastback. As your car is a '79 model, it's probably a KE55.

4k is a dead giveaway. That and the vents in the pic.

 

So where are you located??

 

Have you already got a five speed?? They are kinda rare.

Hey I'm from Mt Gambier SA. Yeah I got a mate with a 5 speed :lock: and i wish i could have them 17s but i'll get defected straight away :( so that sucks but I'm getting the same ROH's but in 15's so it will be sweet I'm doing all the interior all black and red so when i do that i'll post some pic's up for you's :hmm: I'm getting two 10inch clarion subs with a two chanel fusion amp. :lock_folder:

Yeah man, that isn't a KE35, they are 2 doors like the one in my avatar.

The tail lights are the same as a KE30...the bumper bars are KE55 ones, and just because it has a 4K, doesn't make it a KE55, my KE30 has a 4K in it, people can swap engines :laff:

Its a KE55 because its got the 4k/trimatic combo

I had a 4K trimatic sitting on my garage floor, which could easily have been put in my KE30, would that make it a KE55 Dan?

If you restamped the VIN off a KE55 it most definately would :laff:

 

No, but 1979, Trimatic, 4k, KE55 bumpers... its a KE55.
