Raven Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 (edited) I wanna put the carb from my Panel Van into the KE25. I know you have to blank off the fuel solenoid to change it over, but then I read that Superjamie grinds the end off the fuel solenoid and sticks a bolt in it. Do you have to cut a new thread or do you have to just replace the whole solenoid or do you grind the end off the solenoid and put a bolt in it and just put the whole solenoid back in? coln72 Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 If its the one that stops the engine running on after it is switched off, hook it up so it is triggered by the ignition. No need to stuff around. Quote
Raven Posted August 2, 2006 Author Report Posted August 2, 2006 Where would be a good place to tap into to do that? Quote
Felix Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 coil +ve. have a look at some of the earlier carbs. they have a plug (bolt type thing) in place of the solenoid, which is easily changed over. Quote
