just wondering if a steering wheel that suits a ra40 and corona has the same spline as a ke70? i have been told that some one that they don't think so but want to make shoure...

If its a boss kit youre talking about, then most likely they would be the same. Ive had the exact same boss on a KE70, KE20 and TA22 so theres alot of compatability pre-1990.

i would of thought so, but this bloke who has a wheel that had been on a corona and fits a ra40 said he wasnt 100% about ke70

I currently have a wheel and boss from my old RA40 on my KE70... I'd say pretty certain, yes. :P

as said the splines r the same but the little circle thingo that deactivates the blinkers is different, the celica/corona has 3 little holes in the boss for location, where as the rolla has 2 holes.

 

just make sure it has provisions for that, or just drill another hole...
