Hey fellas i just recently have come across a nice Gemmie Wagon with no rust (very rare) an was just wondering if anyone here has had an RAA check done on an older car before and know how much it costs? The only reason i'm gonna do a checkup is cause it has a Rodeo 2 litre in it, an the dude rekons the brakes need lookin at so i don wanna buy it an have it f@$k up on me. I know it aint a Toyota but it's a fukn sick car. lol.

Any help would be apppreciated.

MTAA (way better than RAA) cost me $110 about 4 years ago.

Why not just give them a call and ask how much a vehicle inspection is?

but SOOOO worth it. If I had'nt have been so in love with my current car and impatient, I would have had an RAA check done on it and I wouldn't have bought the car. The report would have shown up the cracked exhaust manifold, they may even have been able to tell me about all the other things that went wrong with it (luckily I'm covered under warranty but if I wasn't I'd be looking at over $7000 in repair work....).

You may think it's expensive, but it's good so you know you're not buying a lemon.

The 25 is a little bit of a lemon though I've spent money fixing it.

Rusted chassis rails in both sides, rust hole under the battery, rust in the A-pillers, patched up rust along the roof-line above the most rearward opening window on the drivers side.

Its far from perfect but I plan on fixing it up and keeping it for a long time.
