  1. Wow that is impressive, keep the updates coming. I'm keen to see how this turns out! Alec.
  2. wow man, just read through the whole thing, now i think i will go for a well built 5ke rather than a 4age cause i never wanted to put a 4age in a ke55 or ke70. just could not work out how i would EFI a k series motor but now i know. keep up the awsome work mate. Alec.

saw a white slanty front ke70 at about 4:30 ish on south road on what looked like meshies or hotwires. slamed quite low but had what looked like a paint roller paint job (but worse). Alec.
  4. hmmmmm well i think i will deffs get a ke70 first as my daily and then do a ta22 in the mean time properly and make sure everything is totally as i like. and that way it can be done at a higher quality. Alec.
  5. awsome work man, if i am ever up at the Barossa I would be keen to check it out. You Know anywhere i could pic up a decent ta22??? EDIT: where is the fuel tank in this thing???? Alec.
  6. thanks Justin. "i have both, and yeah rolla is more common and sure is easier to get parts for put even i prefer my ta22 thats why I'm rebuilding it ground up sure parts are a lil harder to come by, but how many ta22s are out there f*!k all, so ya don't need to worry bout copying the bloke down the street with style. and plus they look frickin tuff no matter what ya do to it. so my opinion is ta22 need more clean tuff 22s out there! " MattyZ, if you ever come down Adelaide way let me know, I would love to see the ta22 and have a good look, cause I am trying to find some around me but there seems to be a very slim amount. None actually. Except one when i was like a kid and that disappeared. Alec.
  7. hmmmm, well then maybe I should do both, first a ke70 budget build to get me around and have a bit of fun in and then get a ta22 and do it from the ground up..................or I could just get what ever one is up for sale when I go to buy. but overall the cost between doing the same things to both cars would not be to different, right? (conversion, rust etc.)
  8. What would be the cheaper option? I am happy to go either way. It will be my first car also. I am thinking ke70 cause ta22's are getting pretty hard to find in SA.
  9. Hi all, I have always been a ke70/ae71 fan but at heart I am a real ta22 nut. But i am having a tough choice about what to get. I would go with either of the cars and would not look back. But the issue I have is parts. I would like to get peoples oppinion on whether i should get a ta22 or ke70, based on the access to cheap and regular parts. Which do you think will be the better runner and the better car? It will be a daily and will probs do a few hill climbs and will be powered by a 4age. I would love to hear what you have to say cause it is bugging me. Any advice on making the choice would be much appreciated. Alec.
  10. Awsome, i am looking forward to it. It will give my dad a bit of an idea about what i wish to do. Then he will hopefully let me get one.
  11. Yay, has it got the original 4k or u done a conversion? Alec.
  12. dam that sucks, keep up the good work.
  13. God dam that sucks, i was looking forward to seeing some rollas. Want to learn as much as i can which means taking as many photos as i can :jamie: . Ah well it should still be good. I will see who ever is there then. Alec.

I saw a cream flat nose ke70 going down Magil road at about 4:45 and then another ke70, white with fender mirrors going up Magil road at about 5ish. Never seen that many in such a short time. Alec.
  15. oooooohhh, I like that, that makes things so easy. Thanks mate. Does anyone elso know of another easy way to get the right ignition for a carbed 4age? Alec.
