hey people of tassy need a 4k bottom end, prefer complete, or a whole motor will do.. need a working one or one thats not too bad, prefer it to be in launnie-westbury way, or if u can drop it off at my place for a few extra $$$ or a 6pack of beer, haha Thanks

well, got the head off today, head is rooted.. few q's 1, what causes the valves to go white? 2, why should i use 4k rocker gear in the 3k head? 3, how do i clean up the water ports and stuff? gunna rebuild the 4k i reckon, the 3k bigport head is going in to get a shave, inlet port match for head and weber, a 3 angle valve grind thingy. bottom end, either rebuild, or find a 5k block!

hmm so whats required in a bottom end rebuild? will look around some wreckers and private sellers, see if i can find a half decent 4k block. got a 3k bigport head now, will get my inlet manifold port matched for the weber, and the head.., just wondering, is it fine to grind all the shit thats around all the oil holes and water holes in the head with a small sanding bit ina drill?,

yeah, sounds bout right, so my motor is truely worn lol o well, will get hold of a better 4k block, got a 3k head as off tommorow, will get new spark plugs, oil filter etc etc, gasket set.. should run heaps better,

lol, not really, well actually...i got the pedders shocks free, but I'm trading em, for the head, so in a way YES it was free hmmm can't wait to pull down the engine,

well the mechanic friend of mine said it should 120psi min for what ive got done (not much lol), but it read 60 hahaha, so thats bad

got a 32/36, but my motor is tierd, so very tierd, only showed up 60psi on cr test, best was 90..lol

well, gunna go see about the 38 weber later today, should be able to get it for $50 with airfilter., then $20 for adaptor. far as i know before my mate got it for his gem (was only on for 1 month before motor blew), it was on a KE70 with 4K, large cam, extractors with 2", and a 3K head, was bought from a fella in the mainland....so i dunno, it did run lean on his motor, and it was tuned a few times, couldnt get it to run a bit richer, so maybe it had smaller jets to suit the 4k?

as title says, can get one for cheap, next to nothen, can it be rejetted to suit a 4k?, it came off a 1.6L gemini motor, which had only extractors, and it ran really well, and if anything was runing a bit lean... i might just grab it just in case, Thanks

i realised what it was with the throttle, it had no return spring lol... will get one this week sometime, alone with some fuel hose as mine sprung a leak just before the carby!!, ohwell thanks for the help guys

before u say use search, i have, and ive read thorugh the write up on it. i got my nikki the other day for nothen, and i got hold of a second gasket today thanks to KE30king at the cruise. i got it all conected up fine, but, i need help on tuning it better how do i know if its running lean or rich?, and also the thottle don't return properly, do i just add a stiffer spring to return it better? any help on this will be great, cause i really need the car to be working properly. thanks

hey all was in town last nite (launnie), seen the RED rolla with plates PS1_055 i think, it was for sale on here a little while ago, who owns this?, wouldnt mind having a look, (I'm such a sticky beak) and there eas also a KE30 i think, yellow, and I'm damn sure it was supercharged, cause the loud whine it made when the revs gets up was insane!!!! anyway, just my rant, lol! oh yeah, seen that yellow wagon with black bonnet the other week too, looks tuff, :) :(

how long will ya have it for mate?, gotta pull the head off the old girl tommorow, and got a few problems i have to fix, but can make it down maybe next weekend??
