I was wondering how long it would take for Mr Shades to respond :lolcry: I cleaned out my room a few years back and boxed them with my old model cars in the garage. Now I'm needing to make space in the garage and am junking most like the model cars.

Yeah it must have something to do with the gases or plastic. They are pretty clear now and they don't fizz if you shake them.

And a little something else I found today while cleaning my desk... mmm The SL model is only $170 extra!!

lOl pics of the car not no nose :lolcry: So I sanded the whole rear end. Okay before... After sanding... After 1st coat. I'll put another coat on tomorrow... I only did that side today. Tomorrow I might do the other but most likely will do the under carriage in the arvo when its not hot. The sound deadener dry's quick. I'll also buy some spray on deadener for the places I can't reach. I noticed this while I was sanding. Its got mounts for a tow bar. I've never realised that... lOl and me. I couldn't help but take a pick. And my compressor took most of the dust off me too. Okay lastly a question about my fuel lines and tank. Inside the rubber part to the left there is a bolt. Is that the drainage nut to the fuel tank? Also to the right are the two fuel lines. One that goes to the fuel filter and the other that goes to the charcoal canister. I should be right to drain the tank through that right? Also the condition of the lines aren't the best. just surface rusty. I should be right to sand them back with some wet and dry, or is it best to paint them too? I might have to completely remove the whole set up including the brake lines as they will be in the way when I have to sand the sound deadener. Oh and I've ordered myself some nolathane Bushes for the rear of my car. I shopped around and autobarn came out cheapest. I'm thinking they must be giving me discounts of some sort. I do go there alot. Well I did with Lolla in her last few months. They came out cheaper than all the on ther places including Pedders. Perdders were almost double just to supply bushes.

Already there. Here is my cheap air drill and my sanding pad. Man this attachment is just as good as a wire brush, takes everything off, tho I do have an actual wire brush as a back up for when I have to get into the small crevices.

Well cleaning around and I found a few things. Well soft drinks. Does anyone think these would be worth anything now or in the future... First item is from 1999 but is the 2000 Sydney Olympic Coke Bottle in 390ml. Sadly since its in plastic the bottle has sucked in a bit. Second item is "NEW Diet Vanilla Coke" in 600ml when it first came out in 2003. It too has been sucked in... Third item is "NEW Cherry Coke" in 600ml from 2003. Its a flavour thats not in production any more. It too is sucked in... Last item is the 2008 Beijing Coke Bottle in glass... So just keen on everones opinion. Would these be worth anything or should I just chuck them and make space?

Do you at all know what happens when you clean up!! You find things. I found... Brand new Engine mounts and gearbox mount... Brand new brake hoses... Brand new bearings for the whole car... Got a bit of work done today. I dropped the diff, leafs, exhaust and all the mounts. Then high pressure cleaned everything. Man the clumps of dried up mud under this beast was amazing. I think I got everything. Tomorrow I slide on under her and start sanding away at the old sound deadening and with luck start applying the new stuff. Diffless... Clean!! I cleaned the engine bay while I was at it too... Anyone after a good used exhaust?? The diff... While I had it out I decided to give it a clean too to make it easier for me later... Doesn't she look hot :)

I like the look of the Chrysler ones with the twin round headlights, but this comes off as second favourite for the model :)

Where'd you get the bushes from?? I was actually sussing that out getting quotes today for my project. Not off ebay? I couldn't find any there. I just wanna find the best price. Not to keep on sourcing everything from autobarn :)
