Name: Rob Car: Elsie (1981 KE55 Coupe, Nanna-spec) Motor & Driveline: Stock 4K-C, 3 Spd Auto (for now...) Changed head around a year ago. Suspension & Brakes: Stock Wheels & Tyres: Stock, have jellybean mags in shed waiting for freshen up & rubber Interior: Stock when I got her 2 years ago, including AM radio, cassette player and A/C. Have changed steering wheel, added CD/MP3 deck and replaced factory 5x7s in the back shelf. Venetian blind in the cards... Body: Stock for now, some rust here & there. Other: Newer/better engine going in some time this year...

Hey I just seen this as well. Possibly yesterday arvo. Not far from where you saw it, she turned off Albany Hwy at the corner where Dan Murphy's is in Kelmy.

Yes, sorry for the delay. Xmas period got a bit hectic etc... Here's a couple of pics as I got her. Only just been driving her in the last fortnight as she needed a head/gasket. Now she runs but drops some oil. Only keeping the 4K going til I am cashed up for an engine transplant... :o this bit totally sucked! Some rust removal/repairs have begun since the photos were taken...

In short, I've mostly owned Fords but when I found my lil coupe I couldn't resist. I've also owned a KE70 bush basher, and despite it's rough condition I often wish I had not parted ways with it.
