  1. sounds like uve got alot of experience with the whole rebuildin and racin cars ill much rather fork out extra cash for a trailer rather den a new motor thanks :)

  3. arrh kk righto, jus neva really heard bout them before but it was talkin to the guy doin my motor n he rekons there ok aswel so mite get there cams.. and ima try tune it best i can at home den drive it to chasers to get it done..

I'm gettin footscray eng. recon. to do the port polish n all the tricky bits, but I'm gan do the rest... ect. put it back together. as for tune ima run megasquirt v3 and hopefully ill make it to the workshop to get tuned, running t50 n standard diff lol. with those cams can u really trust the name? thanks

  7. hey all gna be puttin my motor into my e7 soon and jus wanna get a few tips on how to run it in.. mods are: light head work bigport possibly ITB's 264 in. 272 ex. custome valves (3sge) springs 7a block gze slugs custom rods t25 or 28 turbo any advice on choice of cams will be great aswel thanks :)

  9. don't cut the front biggest mistake eva! the ride turns frm bad to worse jus get kings in front n choppies in the rear with good shockers
  10. yeh get the grinder to em! cheap n good jus clean it up nice n spray yellow or red..
  11. 2 canaries 3mnths apart but its cos of my stupidity tho i had a it on bump stops and 2-1/4 inch exhuast so they heard me comin n pulled me ova..., after i put it to the set up as i told u.. neva got picked on still same exhaust so don't go too low..
  12. super cheap auto has pretty nice chrome ones.. get falcon springs chopped in the rear and kings springs in front ive got about 4 coils on my rears sits very evn n is 9.5 lowest point ride wise not too stiff but alot stiffer den stock, i changed my rear shocks to vt fe2 shocks
  13. any clue on the wieght before these motors start to suffer from lightin it ?
  14. jus curious if too much is taken off, wont the engine lose its momentume. as all the engery will be stored in the flywheel while rotating..? by removing the mass u lose momentume.. is dat correct?
  15. lol I'm thinkin out loud n yeah i think i did answer the question that has bein on my mind for a while now lol, but basically for drift set up leave the stock front sway bar and change rear sway bar to larger dia.? is dat correct?
  16. but by it liftin the front up it wuld increase rear grip n reduce front grip allowing faster exit speeds without trac loss.. isnt it desinged more so for grip rather den drift..?
  17. by adding a larger dia. front sway wuldnt it cos understeer? also thort it did?
  18. hi ive done abit of cheap mods i found best combo cheap was camber plates toytechno.. ajps extra lock, cut 10mm off tie rod end.. adj strut brace ford springs all round with holden vt fe2 rear shockers welded diff. done it all in a 3sp. auto stock 1.3 4k n managed to get it sideways in the dry was hard to do tho... in the wet was hard to keep it from goin sideways around corners. the strut brace made the steerin feel more controlable, felt it in fast corners while throwin it around, helped with bump steer alil too.. wuld recommend rca's tho n don't bother tryna get wheel aliment after, do it urself. goodluck :)

  23. ay all I'm starting my 7age ke70 build and jus need to knw if i use the 7a oil pump or 4age pump and also the water pump and thermostat is it all jus 4age or do i need 7a bits too, I'm aiming for 180hp at the fly, i will be really happy if i get more tho. main reason i decided to go 7age was becos ive seen soo mny 4ages done now and i wanted abit more low end power aswel as sumthing alil different from the usual this is also my first build so everything is alil new to me. its scary how much money these "cheap" builds cost :) heres what ive got t50, bigport ecu, r31 thermo fans, surge tank, ae71 xmembers. big port head- got needs to be shaved a ported 7afe block-got needs light clean up using big port pistons with new rods. need timing belt need cams 290ish need cam gears need forged 7a rods need 20v itb with adaptor plate need larger injectors need ecu- microtec or haltec need ignition set up maybe coil not sure .. need extractors 4-2-1 need ae71/86 tail shaft btw was lookin at these rods... http://www.technotoytuning.com/productdetail.php?p=851 any help will be greatly appreciated :) cheers shayden
