  1. I tried that website bit hard to use on iphone, shall try at homee.., i may look into gettin a megasquirt as there cheap and easy to tune.. Itll be a good idea to hav the fuel side if eva i wanted to run fuel or DI, would u know the spool up rpm on a t2871? Any chance Cheers :)

  3. pedal box.. high pressure fuel pump bosch 044 ive got one if needed need high pressure fuel lines radiator sv21 or excel loom of cos thats all i can think of hope that helped
  4. ok soo i asked a couple questions answers i got.. 1. Research easier to tune and cheaper but injected will produce more power not much though I'd say in the 10%, also with injected you will need to run a ecu for pulse just like petrol. 2. You control the amount of gas by hooking a line to the front of the converter to the front of the turbo housing to open the converter to produce as much gas and to control gas flow you control that by the mixture screw on the gas hat or mixer. 3.gas with a correct tune on your car would be wicked add a turbo and it gets better, as the motor does less work which increases economy. 4. Go vac easier again to tune and you run a boost retard unit which pushes boost into the dizzy and retards only under boost which then advances under normal load so you get good power off and on boost. 5.tuning not hard its just listen for ping then back off. 6. Just get hardened valves which are gas valves and if you really want them to last you Can get something called a Lucas drip system which drops small amounts of oil into the throttle and lubes your valves.

  6. ive thort bout the t28 but kept comin back to othe 25 due to its fast spool up rate... always looked at the wrx turbos td04 i think ? havnt bought the turbo yet so options still open
  7. hey all rolla fans, i hav a 1982 toyota corolla better knwn as a ke70, my plans with car hav changed alot over the past couples years owning it.... only after buying it did i know what people were using them for. At first i was goin for a cheap but powerful engine swap a ecotec 3.8 v6 manual was goin to power the little corolla. after doing research i saw alot of people were using 5k's and 4ages as quick and easy swap. i then bought my self a nice little bigport 4age with a t50. after a while of it sitting in the shed, i pulled it down and found it culd do with new pistons thats were i decided to go 7age with a little t25 for a little extra grunt. ive collected alot of little goodies for the build, and now going straight gas, no tunning issues or injectors problems to worry bout. the gas set up will be the simple gas research, dizzy will be converted back to vac... with the line from from the turbo into the gas converter to open it up under boost... and a retard unit to the dizzy to retard under boost, and advance under normal driving. few pictures :)

  9. mmmm soo on xr6 turbos wen running gas how do they alter the amount of gas goin in ? n i think direct injection is now aviliable in vic... cheers
  10. ayy thanks mate.. its gna be efi?? without injuectors.. so a research set up goin thru my throtle body.. ? its gna be turbo too.. wuld it work with the research set up wuld u kknw ? thanks :)
  11. heyy all ive bein hunting around trying to set up my fuel and ign. for my corolla, its bein the biggest headʞ©$ɟ!! mind my language. A mate mate converted his xf to run straight gas as its turbo... he rekons its alot smoother n alot more powerful on jus gas.. just wanted to see if anyone has tried this on the 4a or 7a turbos... and how wuld i do the mechanical or vac for the dizzyy as ther will be no ecu.. thanks shayden

  14. haha thanks. but for my own good ima get themm ordered them today, after pulling a motor outta a little hino at work today cos its spun a bearing ( low oil ) i got a lil worried .. stil 30bucks each order from japan 3weeks time ill have them :) and my builder will be more them happy to do them even if he just drills the holes i can put everything together.. after all i am a mechanic o.O lol
  15. looks good.., do cops giv u much trouble bout them ? had mine for aweek n got a defect for them they poped out about 4.5inchs but urs look much larger...

  18. before i ask my builder to do this i need to be able to answer the possible questions.. how much hav u taken off? and why do u machine the whole space, can't u jus do it slightly lager then what the bolts gna be? and how do u know wer to drill? thanks

  22. cops in vic are pretty stupid, bein pulled ova countless times and not once did the coppers ask or suspect i had a locker, its not as bad has everyone makes it out to be... leaves trible tyre marks on the drive way, but can only hear it in sarvos.., chopped falcon in the back sprayed yellow got me thru 2 rwc ;) lol make em look good clean cuts... i used kings springs in front as i like a comfy ride still :) dats it after rwc 10.5cm full tank, was the lowest it wuld drop was pretty stiff still.. i used commies wagon shockers to fe2 type good luck

  24. Yea ill give toyota a call on monday..., i wanted to get a pic so badly the other day but the workshop was so busy didnt wanna piss anyone off. I saw my pistons tho, they wer so shinny and they made a mockup rod from a v6 holden and altered it to get the right length. At the moment I'm lookin at around 8.2 comp. Everything is frm fabre, and there the chrome faced rings someone asked lol. Also they are o-ringing the block to hold 40+ psi "safely" lol i mite get the larger valve the 3sge is 1mm longer and a fair bit larger dia. Wise cams gna keep small 264/272. What gasket are you gna use the 4a or 7a?
