So i have been looking around for some sidedraft carbs and am shocked to see how expensive they are. Now i was wondering is it normal for a pair to set you back 1200+? Twin 40 DHLA Dellorto carbs, 40mm Solexes and the Twin 40 DCOM Weber are the ones i have found, is there anything else i can use to get the same result but cheaper? eg: off a alfa or dato or something and use a diff adaptor plate ? Any help would be great cheers

my mate was giving me a lift home when we rolled through a rbt, even tho it was packed the little wanker with his glow sticks ran out onto 3 lanes of moving traffic and summoned us in.. after passing the rbt and cop's oral exam he then stated that the car was overly loud to which my friend replied everything is standard have a look for yourself. So bonnet pop'd the police officer starts informing another police office to what they are looking at in the engine bay. He then starts saying that there is a intercooler and u can see the pipes to the turbo... THIS IS A NON TURBO S13 WITH RED P's...... So out we jump with puzzled looks on our faces. BIG no no. WHAT ARE U DOING GET ON THE GROUND! both of us are in hand cuffs for exiting the vehicle on a major road while under going police checks with more police then a fking murder scene. After we both check out they let us go and defect my mate for a intercooler that clearly was a new radiator and loud exhaust, my mate went through the epa 2 times had the engine decarbonized 3 diffrent exhausts fitted and tunning with a rough cost of about $2-3k.. just don't drive imports.. or carry a gun with lots of bullets.

sooo i want to upgrade the engine from the ke and was told that a 12a/13b wouldn't have to be engineered, is this true? would any one kno of any decent engineers that could assist me in this venture I am in nsw Thanks deano.

since buying my ke30 i have had nothin but good remarks ( specially from the oldies ) but i guess those people behind me on hills hate me..

Hello Peeps, I have recently bought a ke30 stock as a rock and already have a million ideas running through my head. i have tried to utilize the search function but keep having to wait 20 seconds and its getting to me :S if someone could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Atm engine is my last worry as i want the car to brake and handle, so am i able to put in coilovers ? ( what about the rear leafs what can i do there remove them or leave them ? ) Brakes, am i able to throw in s13 hubs all round? the car will be used for the od track and drift day Thanks Deano. pic's from when i bought it.
