  1. Good stuff mate! I'm very happy to see your manifold and turbo all fit - that must be a feeling of relief!! :D And as if you are doing anything other than the turbo... Cheers, Jason
  2. Ok - Now I'm mildly confused... You must be flat out busy up to some kind of mischief eh slo??? :hmm: I have NEVER been to this forum and had to look further than the first page of the rides thread to find your car(s)! :laff: I can't yet hear supercharger whine - what the hell else could be taking your time? :P Cheers, Jason
  3. Hmmm... So if ya don't mind me asking... What the hell could be more important than boosting the 5K??? :D Cheers, Jason
  4. Immmmmmpressive!!! I just read the last three pages and found nothing but cool upgrades and cruising - no breakages!!!! Looking good mate. Cheers, Jason
  5. Good stuff. Sounds like its drunk idiot score 0 and rolla score 1 for some more win! Cheers, Jason
  6. Shakes head... I don't remember to drop in for a few weeks and you've been at it again... Chalk that one up to the memory bank and put another cd in the player which has a more mellow tune! Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying you were doing anything wrong - just get the general impression you enjoy driving spiritedly. :) People like to see these old girls being driven and particularly nice examples like yours. Take a slightly more relaxed approach in your classic and let people enjoy the view of your rolla crusing gently past and get a good earful of the cammy exhaust note, you will also have an extra split second to react when some dumbass is standing where they shouldn't be! Good luck with it, sounds like it should be better than ever! Cheers, Jason
  7. I wasn't game to go with a puck clutch in front of my T50 as I believe they are made of similar glass to the K50... I went with a nicks custom clutch consisting of an organic plate with 1000kg pressure plate. Couldn't be happier with its performance for daily driving duties. :) Cheers, Jason P.S. Good luck with the drive line - you sure need it!
  8. Hi there, If you want to buy off the shelf stuff then the likes of BRD Racing or Paradise Racing in the states will supply the goods in exchange for the right dollars. You will I think need an adapter plate to make the intake fit as these guys build stuff for the pushrod 3TC/2TC motors - the intake has different bolt holes on the 2TG but its no biggie. 2TG will take a 'bit' of boost. I'm guessing a stock engine is what you are asking about and they had 9+:1 compression depending on the model so you would need to limit the boost somewhat. If the engine is fresh I'd personally stick in 10psi or so with a decent intercooler in the equation and good engine management/tune. Cheers, Jason
  9. Absolutely best choice of the 2 you have provided is the 3TC - I am however a tad biased... Turbo 3TC is a totally tried and tested deal and 800rwhp is achievable with them in extreme builds. I have a blow through holley turbo setup on my 3TC and LOVE it! Cheers, Jason
  10. Front uni failure eh? If you don't already have one then I sure hope you build/install a tailshaft loop asap! No mention of major karnage so I assume it didn't dig into the road? ...possibly just a low speed high rpm failure?... I am not game to ask what is the next weakest link - although its a sure thing you will enlighten us!!! Cheers, Jason
  11. Mmmmmmmmmmm... Kinda lost me on the importance of lengthening the rocker arms in conjuction with regrinding the camshaft... I've had em reground and needed nothing more than the usual lash adjustment. Is it an outright monster? Mate if you havn't already got the information you seek then this link should help! Toymods T series tech Cheers, Jason
  12. Hi there mate, Just about everything that bolts on to a 2t will bolt up in exactly the same way to the 3tc! I've swapped out a 3tc into my TA23 celica in place of the 2t and they are almost identical motors so absolutely no hastles at all. Cheers, Jason
  13. The skyline borgy was 104mm wider than the T series. I think using the two short axels approach should get you within cooey... I was too lazy to shorten it and just jammed the whole thing under my TA23. With the standard rims onboard it actually made the car look heaps better - just gave me hastles chasing down two pairs of totally different offset rims when I went to get mags. :laff: Cheers, Jason
  14. I've been without interweb access for the last couple of weeks and I see you STILL arn't finished... :glare: Sif these things ever are! :lolcry: Whatcha decided to sling in for a diff? Got something for the right price??? Cheers, Jason
